Sidney + AJ became husband and wife last Saturday at a sweet little church on Love Road in Rainsville. Sidney is another of my past KC Photo seniors, and I was so excited to see her become a bride! AJ is the life of the party and the perfect balance to Sidney’s calm demeanor. Their wedding day was definitely a hot one, but that didn’t steal any of their joy. Stick around to see some of my favorites from Sidney + AJ’s perfect day!
Sidney chose a variety of blue tones as her wedding colors and I love the fresh pop of color they brought to a swelting summer day.
A moment for the Looney Tunes socks! AJ and his groomsmen rocked coordinating character socks with their navy suits.
Find you someone who looks at you the way AJ looks at Sidney! His reaction to seeing her for the first time was so sweet– he had to get the full 360 view!
We started our bride + groom portraits outside, with the church serving as the most charming backdrop. I think church weddings are beginning to make a comeback and I’m all for it. Any location with an emotional attachment for the couple is A+ for me.
Sidney wore a lace dress with matching lace edged veil. The dress was absolutely perfect for her and her hair and makeup complemented all her best features.
Finding a field of wildflowers on a wedding day is what every photographer dreams of! We were lucky enough to spot these planted just across the road from the church.
Sidney + AJ chose to read their vows privately before the ceremony– a quiet, intimate moment for just the two of them as we snapped a few photos from the back of the sanctuary.
Love the all blue color palette Sidney + AJ chose for their wedding party! The bouquets really tied together the bridesmaids’ dresses with the groomsmen’s suites.
This crew even braved the heat for a few wedding party portraits outside the church. We were lucky to have such a beautiful sanctuary for the majority of their photos, but I love the ones we quickly grabbed outside as well!
Right before their ceremony, Sidney + AJ took communion together in a prayer room in the church. It was a beautiful act of service to symbolize the commitment they were about to make.
Instead of “I do” AJ responded to his vows with “heck yeah,” much to the delight of everyone in attendance.
Officially official! Mr. + Mrs. Lones signed their marriage certificate in the middle of their reception.
Sidney + AJ, thank you for trusting me to capture the biggest day of your lives. I have been so blessed to photograph many milestones for Sidney’s family and this one is definitely top two (can’t forget her sister Summer’s wedding as well!) I am so happy for this precious couple and wish them a lifetime of true happiness!
