Bailee + Dan faced so many obstacles on the road to their wedding day, but they wouldn’t let anything stand in the way of the perfect day they had planned for so long. As rained threatened and guests started popping open umbrellas, they tied the knot under a cloudy sky as a warm summer breeze blew. Join me in congratulating the new Mr. + Mrs. Fee, and reliving their wedding day through some of my favorite images.

Bailee chose a warm color palette with boho accents for her wedding colors. Her mom lovingly crafted her bridal bouquet, and attached pendants of her grandparents to the stem.

This dress is EVERYTHING. The train was absolutely breathtaking, with lace and beadwork throughout.

After a short and sweet first look, we were on to portraits! This was a HOT Alabama day, and we worked quickly to maximize our time before melting in the humidity.

The pond that’s overlooked by the ceremony site made a beautiful backdrop for some of our bride + groom portraits. The reflection of the trees against the water is like something out of a fairytale!

Bailee + Dan chose a great group of friends and family for their wedding party! These folks came ready to party and celebrate their favorite couple.

I love the dresses Bailee chose for her bridesmaids! Each was unique but together they worked so perfectly.

The real star of the show– Mr. Jackson Fee!
Dan had been battling an infection is his foot for a while, and landed in the hospital the night before the wedding. But he refused to let it get in the way of his and Bailee’s big day. He was a trooper, especially in the heat and sometimes hopping on one leg!

The wedding was officiated by Dan’s grandfather. I love when family are able to play a special party in the ceremony.

Dan surprised Bailee by walking (and maybe hopping a little) down the aisle after their first kiss. Just look at those smiles!

Name a better reception entrance– I’ll wait!

Bailee + Dan, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day! Even though circumstances weren’t perfect, you both took it in stride and I know all the road blocks you had to overcome were worth it in the end. Congratulations, Mr. + Mrs. Fee!
