Emily + Mark were wed on a beautiful fall day in Huntsville, Alabama at The Ledges. Their day was full of timeless details, classic elegance and the joy that radiates from being surrounded by family and friends on the biggest day of your life. Several years ago, I photographed Emily’s senior portraits, and I was so honored when she asked me to be her wedding photographer. She had a specific vision in mind for her day and her photos, and I hope we were able to make that vision a reality!

Emily planned everything down to the smallest detail: from her stunning wedding gown with satin bow and buttons, to the beautiful antique dish of her grandmother’s that we used to display her and Mark’s wedding rings.

I love capturing the quiet moments before the festivities really kick off– especially those of just mother and daughter soaking it all in.

Emily + Mark’s first look was precious! Mark had no idea what Emily’s dress would look like so he was genuinely surprised by her selection. But Mark had a surprise of his own– his custom suit liner featuring the classic Alabama “A.” The perfect fit for an Alabama grad on Bama vs Vandy gameday.

The venue provided us with so many fabulous options for portrait locations, including this stunning overlook, where we really got to showcase Emily’s veil in action!

I love the castle vibes of the front of the clubhouse! It was the perfect backdrop for this elegant pair.

What a picture perfect wedding party! The bridesmaids’ soft pink dresses offered just the right amount of color to the black and white palette.

This group of girls was so fun to work with! They kept the energy up all day and loved being there to support Emily.

The cross at the center of the altar was made by Emily’s late grandfather and was such a beautiful reminder of his presence on their wedding day.

I love when my brides choose to have a live painter for their ceremony! It’s so amazing to me to see the work develop throughout the day.

The new Mr. + Mrs. Woeber! Just look at those smiles!

Guests enjoyed cocktail hour and a caricature artist while Emily + Mark shared a private meal, before their grand entrance into the reception.

Sunset portraits were the stuff dreams are made of! Emily + Mark danced, ran, twirled and embraced under perfectly pink skies, with the joyful chatter of their guests lingering on the breeze behind them.

Nationwide Coverage put on a great show and kept the party going well into the night! I loved the energy they brought to the dance floor, and clearly Emily + Mark’s guests did too!

Emily + Mark, thank you so much for having us there to capture your beautiful wedding day! I hope it was every bit as magical as you dreamed. It was an honor to witness the joy, laughter and happy tears and to document it all for you to look back on for many, many years to come. Congratulations, Mr. + Mrs. Woeber!
