Michelle + Riley: August 12, 2023

Michelle + Riley became husband and wife last Saturday at beautiful Infinity Event Venue in Section. After dating long distance, the couple found the perfect place to “meet in the middle” for their wedding. Friends and family came from all over to celebrate the new Mr. + Mrs. Allen, and to take in the stunning scenery. Michelle + Riley’s wedding was a timeless, sophisticated Southern affair and such a dream to photograph. I hope you’ll stick around to see some favorites from this perfect day.

Don’t Michelle and her mom look so much alike? There’s just something special about the bond between a mom and her only daughter.

Michelle requested to have her first look with Riley on the stone patio where their cocktail hour was later held. It was the perfect intimate spot for a precious first look!

We dealt with some crazy weather during our portraits, but it made for some beautifully dramatic images. The wind was wild, but Michelle made the most of it!

Michelle + Riley have such natural physical chemistry, photographing them was a breeze!

I love when we have enough time to grab a few portraits in front of the Infinity house. It makes such an elegant backdrop for photos.

Michelle + Riley’s wedding party was such a great group to work with. They dealt with the crazy heat and all my posing instructions without any complaints.

How amazing are Michelle’s bridesmaids’ dresses?! The silk fabric and shorter length were perfect for a hot, midsummer wedding, and they added just the right amount of color to their all white bouquets.

A trend I’ve been seeing in my weddings lately is for the bride + groom to share their vows together in private before the ceremony, and recite traditional vows during the ceremony. Michelle + Riley opted to read their vows in Infinity’s stone room.

Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour (complete with taco bar!) and time with the bride and groom shortly after the ceremony. I love that Michelle + Riley took time to hang out with their guests before their private dinner.

How amazing is this getaway car (or should I say getaway jeep) that Michelle + Riley left their reception in?

Sunsets at Infinity just hit different. The day isn’t complete until we’ve taken full advantage of that golden bluff view.

Michelle + Riley’s first dance song was written and performed by her maid of honor, McKenzie (you can find her YouTube channel here— she is so talented!) and it was such a special moment!

Michelle + Riley ended the night with a bang, with a sparkler send off and an exit in their jeep! We loved getting to be a part of their big day and capture all those special moments. Wishing you all the best in the years to come, Mr. + Mrs. Allen!
