Erin + Will: July 8, 2023

Erin + Will celebrated their wedding day surrounded by family and friends at Dry Creek Chapel last weekend. One of my favorite things about their day was how they stayed completely true to themselves and incorporated so many of the things they love into their wedding, to share with their loved ones. I am so excited for you to see how this sweet couple created their perfect day.

Erin made the most elegant bride! She chose to let her natural beauty shine with minimal makeup, a classic updo, and a flowing lace gown. Her bridesmaids were so kind and helpful all day– I love these shots of them helping Erin get ready for her big moment!

The colors that Erin chose for her bridal party were so unique but beautiful. I love the girls dusty blue dresses, but the pops of red in the bouquets really stole the show for me and tied everything together.

Will had one photo request for his wedding day– that he and his groomsmen be able to recreate the Council of Elrond scene from Lord of the Rings. I’ll be honest, this is the first time I’ve gotten a LOTR related request, but these guys came prepared and we made it happen!

Instead of a traditional guest book, Erin + Will had guests sign giant jenga pieces, which they’re sure to use on one of their many game nights. How neat would be it be to look back at all these messages every time you go for a game of jenga?

This wedding party was so great to work with and were all patient through a long, hot day. I love these photos of them cheering for Erin + Will, because they really were *that* excited to see their friends tie the knot.

We made the most of the beautiful evening light at Dry Creek and got some shots of Erin + Will in front of the chapel where just a few minutes before, they became husband and wife. Doesn’t it just make the most perfect backdrop?

Obsessed with this dip! Erin + Will were great about going with all my crazy poses, and the results were so worth it.

Erin + Will’s love of games was present throughout their reception. They set up all kinds of yard games on the lawn, as well as trivia cards on each guest’s table.

Will’s grooms cake was Captain America themed! How cute is that cake topper?

Erin + Will, thank you for trusting us to capture your big day! It was a perfect reflection of the two of you, and I know your guests loved being able to share in all your favorite things. Wishing you all the happiness in the world! Congratulations, Mr. + Mrs. Miller!
