Karstin + Cole are a special couple to me, and I’ve got to watch their love story unfold through many years in front of my camera. From prom and high school graduation to college to their engagement, I have literally watched these high school sweethearts grow up together. Their wedding day was nothing short of magical, and a perfect embodiment of the love they share for each other. Infinity Event Venue made a stunning backdrop, as always, and everyone came together to make sure the day went as smoothly as possible. I hope you’ll stick around for some of my favorite images from Karstin + Cole’s big day, as you’ll see I had a really hard time narrowing them down!
This is the baseball Cole first used to ask Karstin to be his girlfriend. I’m so glad Karstin stumbled upon it a few weeks before the wedding and brought it to include in her detail shots!
Karstin is the oldest of four sisters, and they all served as joint maids of honor, making sure she was well taken care of on her special day.
Karstin + Cole had a great first look– I love how you can see the excitement on both their faces! And you could tell Cole was really taking in just how amazing Karstin looked as a bride.
I loved Karstin’s dress and how versatile it was! The lace train was ornate, but easy to move around for lots of variety and movement in our posing.
Everybody loves an Infinity sunset portrait (don’t worry, those are coming later) but can we just admire how beautiful the view of the front of the house is as well? I love the challenge of finding new and interesting angles when I shoot at the same venue multiple times.
If I could describe this wedding party in one word, it would be: FUN! You could tell they were all so excited to celebrate Karstin + Cole, and they really made this part of the day a breeze.
See if you can spot the guy who *really* went for it…
Another of my favorite sister portraits we captured throughout the day! I can’t imagine how neat it must be to have three built in best friends.
Right before their ceremony, Karstin + Cole exchanged vows privately in Infinity’s stone room. This is a trend I’ve been seeing more and more lately, and I really love the intimate nature of sharing your vows in private.
I really love these shots of Karstin + Cole looking out over the crowd of family and friends who’ve come to celebrate them. I hope it’s a mental image they always remember!
Even though their doodle pups couldn’t be there on the wedding day, Karstin + Cole still managed to include them in the cutest way!
Those Infinity sunsets just hit different! This view never gets old.
After the ceremony, Karstin put on this super cute “Just Married” bracelet her sister made her– obviously, the perfect accessory!
Mr. + Mrs. Ibsen arriving to their reception, ready to party!
Karstin + Cole, thank you so much for trusting me with your big day and so many other milestones in your life. I have loved watching your fairytale come to life and your wedding was the perfect celebration of it all. Congratulations, Mr. + Mrs. Ibsen!
