Payton + Jathan: September 5, 2026

Payton + Jathan were married at the Glass House in Skyline, surrounded by family, friends and a whole lot of love. This sweet couple made my job so easy, as they were effortlessly joyful throughout the whole day. Add to that a super fun wedding party and a big, supportive family and you’ve got a recipe for an incredible wedding. The rich, warm color palette just embodied the warm, fuzzy feelings and the inviting atmosphere. I am so excited to share some of my favorite moments from Payton and Jathan’s big day with you! Payton’s mom styled her hair and helped her get ready for the big day. Her mom, Amy, has been a client of mine for many years and it’s been such an honor to see both her girls grow up into beautiful, successful women. We love the energy with these two! After their first look, they chose to recite their handwritten vows in private. My personal favorite part was Jathan quoting Stevie Wonder to sum up his feelings. Literally picture perfect! The suit, the dress, the florals– * chefs kiss * The details on Payton’s dress were just stunning. The detailed lace bodice and the delicate satin sleeve paired beautiful with her beaded fingertip length veil. Payton choose a beautiful, jewel tone color palette for her wedding party, which I think was the perfect choice for a late summer wedding. Each bridesmaids got to choose a dress that was just right for her. I LOVE this shot. Just a group of besties, out here making memories. Payton’s grandad was gracious enough to share this beautiful 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner with us for some portraits before the ceremony. Don’t these two look like they stepped straight out of a magazine? OFFICIALLY Mr. + Mrs. Underwood!Shortly after the ceremony, a huge storm came through, pushing guests inside and threatening our sunset portraits. Thankfully, the weather cleared just in time and left use with this beautiful rainbow as we headed over to the bluff. Something about the light after a storm passes is just so magical and ethereal. Jathan and his mom surprised everyone with a super fun, choreographed mother son dance!Gang’s all here! Let’s party!From elementary school valentines to husband and wife! Payton + Jathan had a slideshow play throughout the rehearsal featuring photos of them together going back almost 20 years. Talk about a real life fairy tale!
