Ellie + Jonah tied the knot on a hot August day in beautiful Collinsville, Alabama. Rain threatened all day, including an ominous dark cloud and strong winds during the ceremony, but miraculously we never felt a drop! The clouds ended up being a blessing, and gave us some shade as well as a little breeze while we took portraits before the ceremony. Getting to watch these high school sweethearts finally become husband and wife was so special and I’m thrilled we were able to be there to capture it. Scroll on for some of my favorite moments from Mr. + Mrs. Williams’s wedding day.

Ellie chose to do a first look with her bridesmaids before seeing Jonah and her girls’ reaction was so sweet! There were definitely a few happy tears.

After a precious first look, we rolled right into bride + groom portraits with those stunning mountain views.

Ellie chose a navy + rust color palette, and even made her own bridal bouquet! We love a crafty bride who can make her own vision come to life.

Ellie + Jonah chose to read their vows to each other in private before the ceremony and there was not a dry eye around (myself included!)

This color palette was *perfection* against those rolling green hills.

I was sure this rain cloud would make its way over during the ceremony, but it stayed in place and allowed Ellie + Jonah to have their perfect ceremony!

The new Mr. + Mrs. Williams! Time to celebrate!

We love a good reception dance party and these guys knew how to throw down! When the bride is in the middle of the dance floor, you know it’s gonna be a good time.

Ellie + Jonah, thank you so much for allowing us to photograph your beautiful wedding day. We loved getting to play a small part in the love story you’ve been writing since fifth grade. Here’s to many more years of adventures and choosing each other daily. Congratulations!
