Alex + Jordan were married on a warm April day at Sunset at Hayden and they couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day– full of sunny skies, smiling faces and a grand celebration of their love story after so many years. Alex chose a bright color palette that matched her bubbly personality and the couple chose the best wedding party to stand beside them and cheer them on. It was an honor (and a really fun one) to be there to capture it all!

This little butterfly wouldn’t leave Alex’s side while we were taking bridal portraits! We decided it was her best friend saying hello on her wedding day.

As I drove up to the venue, I knew we would have to take some photos in these beautiful yellow wildflowers! Don’t they make the perfect backdrop for a spring wedding?

Black dresses + colorful bouquets is a combo I will never get tired of. I also loved how all of Alex’s bridesmaids’ bouquets had a more natural look to them, which matched the surrounding wildflowers.

These guys were troopers in the heat! Due to some scheduling issues, we didn’t have a lot of time for their portraits, so we got them done within 10 minutes and let them head back to enjoy the AC before the ceremony began.

Alex + Jordan opted not to do a first look, but they did do private vow readings before the ceremony, where they exchanged traditional vows.

Mr. + Mrs. McCaleb! Newly married and ready to celebrate!

After the ceremony, we gathered the wedding party back together for portraits at the ceremony site. What a great looking group!

No first look means making the most of the time you have between the ceremony and reception, so we started with portraits at their beautiful ceremony site first, while guests mingled in the courtyard.

Talk about a dreamy location! This spot was just begging for a veil toss and a romantic moment.

Alex + Jordan’s DJ brought the party and their friends and family took it to the dance floor. These guys were so much fun to photograph!

Alex + Jordan, thank you for choosing me as your photographer and allowing me to capture your wedding day! It was such a fun, joyful day and we were blessed to be a part of it. Congratulations on your new journey as husband and wife, Mr. + Mrs. McCaleb!
