Taylor >> 2017 Fyffe Senior

I first photographed Taylor about 6 (!!!) years ago when I did some family pictures while her mom was pregnant with her baby brother. Fast forward and I find myself doing her senior portraits, with that same baby brother tagging along. 🙂 We met up at Taylor’s house, where Kendall was finishing up her hair and makeup. One of the perks to our on location hair and makeup option is that if you live near our location, my stylist can come to you and you don’t have to travel to the salon! From there, we headed to downtown Scottsboro and scouted out several different places that I thought would look great with Taylor’s outfits. It was a super cloudy day, which actually played to our advantage since we were able to get beautiful, diffused light from our reflector without it looking harsh or overwhelming.

I think the obvious star of this session is the Coca Cola mural, which you might remember from Courtney’s session or from a throwback to Haley’s vintage inspired session back before the wall was repainted. At first I was skeptical about them painting over the historic mural, but I am so in love with how the vibrant red photographs that I can’t imagine it any other way! I happened to have a new pair of sunglasses with me, and thought they would be a super cute addition to Taylor’s look.

We also scoped out some new spots where I had never shot before, and they turned out to be amazing! Just off to our left from that cool multi-paned garage door was a bright blue auto parts building and a set of red deer sculptures. I’m sure Taylor and her mom thought I was nuts pulling into this spot but that’s the beauty of being a photographer– I can find interesting places that most people wouldn’t think of using, and turn them into a unique photo opportunity. We ended Taylor’s session at the Jackson county park, where we explored wooded pathways, danced around to Ed Sheeran and saw the sun set over the water. It was a beautiful way to wrap up a shoot, and I’m glad I have images that captured those moments. <3 Colorful senior portraitsHigh school senior photographyGirly senior portraitsFyffe High SchoolFyffe Red DevilsVintage inspiredFort Payne Photographerunique senior picturesChattanooga senior portraitsurban senior portraitsChattanooga photographerTennessee senior photographerAlabama senior photographerNortheast Alabama senior portraitsScottsboro Alabama photographer
