Emily >> 2016 Pisgah Senior

Even though I’m still not caught up with blogging all my 2015 seniors, I wanted to share Emily’s session from last week! Emily is my first 2016 Pisgah senior, and I can’t wait to meet more! When we were discussing locations for her session, Emily said she wanted to shoot in an open field to really suit her boho senior style. Just a couple days before our shoot, as I was walking in my neighborhood I found the perfect place! Not only was it a beautiful field, but the golden light there in the evening was *perfection* and I knew we would want to end our session there.

When Emily and her sister first arrived, I was so excited to see that they were redheads! It’s probably weird, but I think people with red hair are just so beautiful and I usually don’t hesitate in telling them so! haha… For Emily’s first outfit she rocked a teal tank that was the perfect color to compliment her hair. After that, she moved on to a casual look in an army green button down and jeans. I love the diversity of Emily’s looks– from cute and casual to sporty to super feminine! We of course had to get some photos with her jerseys and letterman’s jacket. I was impressed with her patches (high jump AND basketball champ?!) but even more impressed when she told me she had more that just had’t made it onto the jacket yet!

By the time we got to the field the sun was starting to set, we had stirred up a little dust along the dirt road, and Emily had another gorgeous outfit on! I love all of Emily’s images, but some of my favorites are the ones of her in the field– she looks so stunning she’s practically glowing!
