Payton >> 2015 Fort Payne Senior

Some of the most beautiful images I’ve ever taken come from a recurring theme– a girl and her horse. You might recall Megan‘s session from last year, where I got to shoot her riding in a beautiful gown. So when Payton’s dad asked if she could have some photos made with a horse at the riding school where she volunteers, of course my answer was a resounding yes! Payton brought along her mom, dad, best friend Hannah, and her adorable pup for her shoot. Hannah was so good at working my reflector, I may just have to hire her full time 😉 We explored several different spots (with several different, awesome outfits) downtown, before heading to Challenges Met, where we would photography Payton with the horse.

Honestly, Fort Payne is not a big town. Also honestly, I saw parts of it I had never seen before as I followed Payton to the riding school that day! So I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived there and I saw an old wooden barn set just behind a beautiful field of yellow wild flowers! Payton borrowed the sunflower headband from my bag of accessories I take along to each shoot, and it was a perfect finishing touch. Both of my lovely models for that evening looked amazing in front of the camera. 🙂 Once again, an equestrian and her love of horses has given me some truly awesome pictures!
