Hannah and Matthew planned to have a big summer wedding to celebrate their marriage, but unfortunately Covid had other plans. Instead, they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in June, and celebrated with all their family and friends with a reception in October. Even though the festivities were split, this sweet couple made the most of the circumstances and their guests didn’t seem to mind showing up four months later to honor the new Mr. and Mrs. Smith. We made the most of their June date with lots of bride and groom portraits which I absolutely love– summertime at Harmony Hills Ranch is a sight to behold. Before their October reception, we were able to take some photos with their full wedding party, an opportunity we didn’t get on their wedding day. At the reception, they played the video of their ceremony before dancing their way in, and I don’t think the dancing stopped after that point! The dance floor was full, and guests were having SO much fun. I’m so glad that even though they were forced to split their celebration we were still able to get all the usual shots we would throughout a “normal” wedding day, and even if things didn’t go as planned they were still able to become husband and wife on their original date.
