Taylor + Ethan: October 24, 2020

When I met with Taylor over a year ago to talk about her wedding, I knew she had big plans for her big day. So much planning and preparation went into making sure every single detail was perfect. And then it decided to rain all day. When I say all day– I mean all day. From the time we got there almost 5 hours ahead of the ceremony until Taylor and Ethan left at the end of the night, we had rain. But not even once did I hear either of them complain. They took everything in stride and remembered that the most important moment of the day would happen regardless of the weather: they would be married. Luckily for us, Dry Creek Chapel had plenty of beautiful covered areas we could use for portraits. You may remember this venue from Jessica and Avery‘s wedding last October, and we were so excited to be back this year. Tilted Tulip absolutely transformed the space with her amazing florals and Taylor’s cathedral length, lace trimmed veil was the perfect statement piece. I am so lucky to be able to work with couples like Taylor and Ethan who trust me to handle their photos even in tough conditions, and don’t let a little (or a lot of) rain ruin their day.
