When Paige reached out to me about photographing her wedding at one of my favorite venues, Infinity, I was so excited to see her vision for their big day come to life. Infinity is known for their amazing view, but there are so many beautiful places on the property and inside the venue to make great photos. We’re only halfway through the year, but I think Paige + Jy have some of my favorite wedding day portraits so far! We got to walk around and explore this stunning venue, and I’m thrilled to share some of the magic we made with y’all on the blog today!
A tradition from Victorian times, a sixpence in the bride’s shoe on her wedding day was said to bring good luck and wealth in the future. I’ve had many brides follow this tradition with a penny in their shoe, but this was the first time I’ve seen an actual sixpence coin used!
Paige and her sister Ashley share such a special bond and it was evident in all their interactions on Paige’s wedding day. How precious are these images of Ashley and their mom helping Paige get into her wedding dress?
Paige had the BEST first look with her bridesmaids! There were tears, big smiles, and some serious hype for how amazing the bride looked just before seeing her groom.
Infinity has a great groom’s lounge, so I always like to take the opportunity to get a few photos of the guys getting ready in this space. My second shooter, Jake, did an awesome job with Jy’s portraits before his first look with Paige.
I think it’s so special to have some portraits in the same spot where you say your vows, and it doesn’t hurt when you’ve got the most incredible view too. After their first look, we got a few images of Paige + Jy in front of their beautiful ceremony arbor.
We found the prettiest hydrangeas at the back of the property and I knew I wanted to grab a few portraits there. I loved that the colors complemented Paige’s bouquet! Spring and summer weddings are always fun because you never know what beautiful blooms will surprise you.
More amazing bluff view portraits– are you even surprised?
Paige was the most beautiful bride, with the sweetest nature to match! She and Jy both radiated a sense of calm that made their day so easy to manage. Paige’s dress was also completely covered in sparkles, a perfect fit for her personality.
My favorite spot for portraits at Infinity is in front of the house itself. Not only does it make a great backdrop, but the light there is amazing and allows me to focus on interacting with my couples to get the best images, instead of having to worry about what the background may look like.
Paige had the prettiest bride tribe, complete with four adorable flower girls. I absolutely LOVED the girls dresses, which you’ll see more of in the ceremony images.
We mentioned how cute the flower girls were, but I can’t leave out that dapper little gentleman in the front! Their ring bearer did a great job during the ceremony, just like the girls.
Obsessed with how these wedding party portraits turned out! I love the colors, the soft light, and the beautiful backdrop the venue provides.
For wedding favors, Paige had a friend make these candles which smelled absolutely incredible! I don’t think I’ve ever seen candles as favors before, but I’m hoping more of my brides adopt this trend so I can start a collection.
I can’t think of a dreamier spot to say “I do.”
Sunset portraits at Infinity are a must! While guests are enjoying the food, we like to sneak our couple away for a few minutes to capture some images on the bluff.
Due to the pandemic, Paige’s sister Ashley wasn’t able to have her dream wedding, so Paige honored her and her husband with a special first dance of their own. How sweet is that?
It was an honor to capture Paige + Jy’s wedding day! Everyone was so calm and happy and helped the day run smoothly. After celebrating all day with family and friends, we capped off the day with a fun sparkler exit. Thank you Mr. + Mrs. Lockridge for letting us be there to capture it all!
