Waverley + Jacob: April 16, 2022

Waverley + Jacob tied the knot on a beautiful Easter weekend at Harmony Hills Ranch this past Saturday! They were blessed with a perfectly overcast day and no rain, despite it being a little chilly. There were so many special details that made up their day and I’m so excited to share them all with you here!

Waverley is one of seven girls (nine siblings in total!) and she wore a veil that two of her sisters also wore in their weddings– how sweet is that?! She also did a first look with her bridesmaids and the looks on their faces when they saw her for the first time were so genuine and sweet.

Umm can we just talk about the Cinderella shoes?! We may or may not have recreated that glass slipper moment later in the day 😉

Jacob is one of the most thoughtful grooms we’ve ever had! He admired every detail of Waverley’s look, right down to her necklace and earrings. This will definitely go down as one of my favorite first looks; we couldn’t get over how sweet they were, and how their nerves melted away in that moment.

I thought some photos with the cross would be the perfect way to incorporate the Easter holiday, and I think they’re some of my favorite photos of the whole day. The light was amazing and the cross was a simple way to celebrate the Easter message without being over the top.

With eleven siblings between the two of them, Jacob and Waverley definitely had a big wedding party, but we were up to the challenge! Even the kiddos listened well and we were able to get through our wedding party photos quickly. The girls were pros at the “laughing” shots, and the guys totally understood the assignment for their walking poses.

Waverley was walked down the aisle by her dad, Jacob was walked down by his little sisters, and they were married by Waverley’s grandfather. It was obvious how important family is to them, and we loved seeing how they incorporated that throughout their day, including a sand ceremony and prayer with their parents during the ceremony.

Instead of a groom’s cake, Jacob opted for a charcuterie table from Gable’s Grazing and I now require that all my couples do the same. Joking, but it was an AMAZING spread and didn’t last long because everything was delicious.

Yes, we love sparklers, but I think bubbles are probably my favorite exit. I love they way they reflect light and create all those happy little rainbows. They’re the perfect joyful exit to end a beautiful wedding day. Congratulations, Mr. + Mrs. Henderson!
