Lacy + Heath: May 28, 2022

After 8 years together, Lacy + Heath finally tied the knot at Hodges Farm last Saturday! You could definitely tell that Lacy had plenty of time to plan her big day, as every detail was thought out and perfectly executed. She even cut and collected the pampas grass used throughout the decorations– how neat is that?! I loved the mix of elegance and boho that was incorporated in the details, from the bridesmaids’ mix and match dresses to the Lacy’s eucalyptus and rose bouquet, which included fresh and wood flowers. Sadly, Lacy’s father passed away the day before the wedding, but his memory was honored in so many beautiful ways throughout the day, and he even sent a special visitor to let Lacy know he was still there.

I love the classic vibe of these getting ready shots with Lacy and her bridesmaids. Her dress had stunning lace detail, an open back, and a sheer mermaid skirt for added drama.

Before seeing Heath, Lacy had a first look with Heath’s mom and her own. It was such a precious moment with lots of happy tears! The look on their faces was absolutely priceless.

Just look at those smiles! You could tell Lacy and Heath had both waited a long time for this moment and those smiles barely left their faces for the rest of the day.

I can’t get over how gorgeous Lacy looks! Obsessed with her dress, that elegant updo, understated jewelry, and (as always) that amazing cathedral length veil.

Moment of appreciation for Lacy’s stunning engagement ring! Did Heath do a great job with it or what? I love that this shot is a little different from your normal wedding day portrait, but puts all eyes on the ring.

We had a really fun group to work with at Lacy and Heath’s wedding! They powered through the sun and heat and helped us getting some great wedding party portraits.

During our portraits, this butterfly was all over Lacy. Either flying around her or landing somewhere on her or her veil– it definitely wanted to be noticed. We decided this butterfly was her Daddy’s way of letting her know he was with her on her wedding day.

Tiffany, the venue owner at Hodges, suggested that we take some portraits in their wheat field and it did not disappoint! Golden light + golden grain = magical images.

Lacy honored her dad with a front row seat at their ceremony, marked by his favorite hat and a bouquet of red roses carried down the aisle by her sister.

Lacy may or may not have slipped Heath’s ring on the wrong finger. It was the perfect moment of levity and a moment I’m sure Lacy and Heath will always remember as a part of their wedding day.

Lacy and Heath’s red velvet naked cake was definitely a showstopper. I love all the floral detail, and yes, it did taste as good as it looked!

We love a sparkler send off and we really loved spending the day with Lacy and Heath on their wedding day! After such a long wait, I hope it was everything they dreamed of, because it sure looked perfect to us. Thank you for letting us be a part of your big day, Mr. + Mrs. Albright!
