Kaitlyn and Noah had the perfect wedding day at Desoto Country Club last weekend! Kaitlyn’s family owns the club, so they made sure everything was exactly as she envisioned it. The wedding party got ready in the clubhouse where the reception was held, but guests were shuttled out onto the course for the ceremony, which was held under the biggest, oldest tree on the property. If you ever wondered how to make a golf course look elegant, get ready to take notes because this is exactly how you do it! We loved being a part of Kaitlyn + Noah’s big day and I’m so excited to share it with you all.
How gorgeous is this bride tribe?! Kaitlyn loves all things vintage, so we made sure to incorporate some beautiful vintage furniture into her getting ready photos as well as a few portraits.
Noah’s family previously owned a florist, so they had all things floral under control! We often recreate these shots of the groom’s mom putting on his boutonniere, but Noah’s mom was a literal pro at it.
Noah was so nervous he was going to cry during his and Kaitlyn’s first look, and you can see him here pointing at Kaitlyn telling her not to cry! It was such a funny, sweet moment I’m glad we were able to capture.
It’s no surprise– yall know I LOVE a long veil for dramatic shots and we used Kaitlyn’s in just about every way you can imagine. The wind that day helped us create some perfect, flowy shapes.
We snuck over to their ceremony site for some portraits in front of the amazing arbor (that they built themselves!!) It made such a pretty backdrop for these images.
Okay, we’ve gotta talk about Chip. Chip is Kaitlyn’s parents’ dog and THE sweetest pup! His favorite things include hanging out in the pro shop, and attempting to eat the bride’s bouquet.
I love the petal pink Kaitlyn chose for her bridesmaids’ dresses! Since everything else was neutral, it was such a pretty pop of color to add in the mix.
Such a pretty ceremony site! The big shade tree was the perfect spot for this ceremony, and I loved the understated decorations, which complemented the natural beauty of the area without being overpowering.
10/10 recommend driving away from your wedding on a golf cart!
Beautiful weather, beautiful decor, a beautiful couple and of course, a beautiful wedding day! We were so lucky to be able to capture this perfect day for Kaitlyn + Noah, and also to have survived this double wedding weekend 😉 Congratulations, Mr. + Mrs. Hester!
