Devin + Trey: May 1, 2021

Devin and Trey tied the knot last Saturday in a dream wedding on a local farm, and it was a day they’ve waited for for so long. Devin is my husband’s first cousin, and while I’d like to welcome to Trey to the family, the truth is he’s been a part of it longer than I have! So it’s no surprise that Devin had plenty of time to plan her perfect wedding, and she pulled it off without a hitch! A backyard boho wedding with tons of Disney touches, that also incorporates their dog– can you think of anything better?! Sweet Ember the fire dog not only had her own special floral collar for the wedding, but she also made sure all her other four legged friends had a favor from her mom and dad’s day. They say it takes a village, and Devin and Trey’s village showed up and showed out to make everything happen for them. From creating floral arrangements, to bussing tables or even acting as coordinator, everyone had a role to play and they did it so well. It was obvious how important family is to Devin and Trey. Devin included so many sentimental touches in her day, including her grandmother’s handkerchief and her grandparents wedding rings on her bouquet. One of my favorite moments of the day, was when Devin’s mom realized that Devin would be wearing the veil she wore on her own wedding day. Her reaction was priceless, and so sweet! I love that when I married my husband, I gained a whole other family full of wonderful people and I’m glad to say that Trey is (officially) a part of the gang now. Congratulations, Mr. + Mrs. Ashley!
