Kaitlin + Ryan: December 19, 2020

As we wrap up 2020, I can’t help but think back on all the unique weddings we’ve been able to photograph this year. Due to unforeseen circumstances, so many of my couples were forced to change their plans but made the most of it and still had beautiful wedding days to look back on. Among those amazing couples were Ryan’s brother Dylan and his wife Dakota, who were married back in February. You can check out their fabulous winter wedding here! We started the year with one Clark wedding, and now I can’t think of a more perfect way to end the year than with the amazing Christmas wedding of another at Meeks Grain and Gin! Lucky for Kaitlin, the owners are family friends and the timing was just right where she was able to use all their Christmas decorations from their annual Christmas at the Gin. I just can’t get over all the twinkling lights and beautifully decorated trees throughout the venue– they were the perfect backdrop for this holiday wedding. I also love the red bridesmaids dresses paired with the magnolia blossoms and red berries in the florals. Kaitlin and Ryan were married at nearby Henagar Baptist Church, and celebrated with a reception at Meeks afterwards. I’m thankful for all the couples who have allowed me to capture their wedding days in 2020, but I’m especially thankful to Kaitlin and Ryan for giving me such a magical ending to this wedding season.
