Continuing with our double wedding weekend, we photographed Leslie and Joey’s backyard (technically, front yard) wedding on Sunday! Their steampunk themed affair was full of fun touches, like Joey’s engraved pocket watch and their guest book, complete with a real ink well for signing. I loved the contrast of Leslie’s ruffled, sparkly skirt with the leather accents on her corset and boots. One of the most fun parts of the day was the flower girl and ring bearer, who instead of holding onto flower petals and rings, had bubble guns! We used them for portraits, they played with them all day, and they made lots of bubbles as they entered the ceremony– so cute! After saying their vows under a beautiful tree in Leslie’s aunt’s front yard, they celebrated with their first dance under an amazing cotton candy sky. After two weddings in 48 hours, plus 4 sessions on my plate for this week, I am beat but I couldn’t wait to share the images from this weekend and I hope you’re all looking forward to seeing lots more this month!
