I’ve known Bethany for basically our entire lives, as we grew up in the same church together. She’s a few years younger than me, so it seems crazy that she’s a wife now but OH MY WORD what a beautiful bride she made! It was a little warm (just a normal, 95 degree Alabama day), but we had amazing sunlight for most of the day of Bethany and Kenon’s wedding. Rain threatened in the evening, but managed to hold off until everyone had left the ceremony sight and made it over to the reception area. Everything took place on Kenon’s family farm, where he and Bethany also live. We had so much great scenery to choose from that we had no problems finding places to shoot! One of my favorite parts of their day was how they incorporated special touches for loved ones who couldn’t be there. Bethany not only carried a photo of her mother on her bouquet, but also had a special chair in the audience where her own wedding portrait was placed. Bethany’s best friend Madison was also there in spirit, as her portrait was placed along with a dress and bouquet at the end of her line of bridesmaids. Bethany and Kenon’s wedding day was filled with sweet moments and thoughtful touches and I’m so glad we were there to document them all!
