Last year I had several seniors from Section who were on the 2A area championship basketball team, and this year, I was lucky enough to get another of those talented athletes! In addition to being a talented basketball player, she also happens to be absolutely stunning! Does she remind you guys of anyone? It took me a little time to figure it out, but she looks SO much like Taylor Swift to me! Slap a blonde wig on her and they could be twins haha. We shot her session primarily at Little River Canyon, which I fell in love with as a location this year. There’s so much variety there– from the walking paths, to the woodland trails, to the actual canyon with all its rock formations and flowing water. It’s always a bit of a challenge getting down into the canyon but once you’re there it is so worth it!
This was way before our record rainfall, which now has the falls going at full blast. The water was very low, so we had lots of rocks to shoot with, but very little water. Lucky for me, Lydia was totally fine with getting a little wet for some beautiful images! We found a small pool of water in the shade and got some absolutely beautiful images– I told Lydia she looked like a little water nymph! 🙂 We wrapped up Lydia’s session just as the sun was setting over the mountains and gave us some of THE most perfect light. I just love the shots of Lydia with her flower crown, bathed in that beautiful golden light!
