I am so ready for some warm weather shoots so I can stop introducing every blog with “it was another cold day,” but alas, this was also the case for Maylee’s senior session! Luckily, Maylee chose the on-location hair and makeup package, and we had Tasha along to make sure the cold never affected Maylee’s look. I loved how timeless and elegant Maylee’s half-updo was, and her second look with one of my style closet headbands was so unique and fun! Maylee and her mom were such sweet people, and made my and Tasha’s jobs so easy.
I thought Maylee’s wardrobe for the shoot was great, and it was so funny when I found out that her mom Jill had literally *just* went out and bought most of it for the shoot. Jill obviously understood Maylee’s style, because the outfits were a perfect compliment to her personality and look! Probably my favorite look was Maylee’s navy lace dress and that amazing statement necklace. It added just the right amount of color, without overwhelming the look or taking away from our focus, her beautiful face! It’s always a challenge when you’re shooting winter senior sessions, but despite the cold we were able to get some very warm, fall-like images that I truly adore!
