Courtney>> 2015 Pisgah Senior

It’s been awhile since I took these pictures of Courtney (I know– I’m a bad blogger!) but they are still some of my favorite images from last year! Courtney went all out for her session, choosing on-location hair and makeup with Tasha and rocking a dress from my senior style closet. Courtney had her first hair and makeup look done at her home near Trenton, then we made our way to Chattanooga for her shoot. This was my first time shooting Chattanooga senior portraits in several years and I fell in love with all the cool areas we had access to! Since I’ll possibly be moving there after my wedding in June, I’m so excited to further explore the city and find more great spots to shoot in. We originally planned to shoot around the Hunter Museum, but had to change our plans after we found out there was a private event going on. Instead, we made use of the lighted bridge (both before and after the sun went down) and the Walnut Street Bridge, as well as several other spots in the area.

The black sequined dress Courtney borrowed from my senior style closet was so perfect for our urban setting, and she totally rocked the glamorous look! About halfway through our session, Tasha gave Courtney a great little side ponytail and swiped on some magenta lipstick that looked great with her colorful maxi dress. As the sun was setting, we quickly made our way back to the lighted bridge to take advantage of the beautiful colors along with that last bit of light. I’m so glad Courtney chose me as her senior photographer, AND so glad she chose to shoot in Chattanooga– one of my favorite cities!
