Courtney >> 2015 Ider Senior

I love shooting Northeast Alabama seniors from all schools, but it seems like I’m getting more and more from Ider each year! And considering how awesome these guys and girls are, that’s totally fine with me. When I met up with Courtney at POSH Hair Studio after her hair and makeup was finished, I was pleasantly surprised to see that she had brought her whole family along! Her mom, dad and even her big brother were there to help out (even though I think dad and brother had more fun exploring the abandoned buildings we were shooting around.)

Courtney’s one request was to have some shots in water, and I knew the perfect creek where we could make that happen! We made sure she kicked off her Auburn cowboy boots before wading in, but I love her orange dress against the earthy tones around the creek. There’s also a big wooden bridge that runs over the creek and I was so happy to see that we could get some amazing light under there with the help of a reflector. I thought the beams in the background made such a cool image!

Courtney plays volleyball and softball, so she brought lots of sports gear as well as her jerseys for us to incorporate. We did several shots with her Ider volleyball, baseball and helmet, but my favorite was the last shot I included below! I hope y’all love this gorgeous girl’s senior session as much as I loved shooting with her!
