Hannah >> Styled Shoot

For those of you who have followed KC Photography for awhile now, I’m sure you all know Hannah. But for those of you who don’t, I’d like to introduce you to someone AMAZING. Since Hannah asked me to shoot her senior portraits back in 2011, she’s become a major asset anytime I need help with styling or I have a crazy idea for a shoot. One of my favorites was our Gatsby shoot, which was featured on Beyond the Wanderlust last year! These photos were actually taken in November of 2012, and have been sitting on an old hard drive of mine since then. When Hannah mentioned them to me a few days ago, I was so excited to go back and look through them!

I’ve been snowed in for almost 3 days now (because in Alabama, 5 inches of snow means you do NOT leave the house) so going back and editing these has truly saved my sanity! When the cabin fever got bad, I would just open up a new file and get to work. I was totally inspired by the contrast of Hannah’s pink/red lipstick and her blue velvet dress, so I chose to include a lot of color in my edits. I love personal shoots like this, where I get to just do whatever I want and play around in Photoshop! 🙂 This is one of two outfits that Hannah put together for me that day, and hopefully I’ll be able to share the other soon.
