Gabriela >> Pocahontas Inspired Session

About a year ago, this little Indian princess was my first ever blog post! Since then, we’ve gone to Disney World, ventured our first sleepover, and sang Thank You For the Valley about a million times at church together. This, my friends, is my adorable cousin Gabriela. She’s probably the smartest, silliest, most grown up eight year old you’ll ever meet. AND she’s not only the perfect little model, but a budding photographer, too! Every time she’s at my house she’ll ask if we can go take pictures. I let her borrow my old Rebel t2i, fix the settings, and she’s a snappin’ fool! She even took a great picture of me that I used as my profile for awhile! I’m hoping one day she can step in and make KC Photography a family business 😉

When I first had the idea for a Disney inspired shoot, I knew who my perfect “Hocapontas” (as Gabriela calls her) would be. We just missed the fall leaves at our beautiful location, but I think we definitely made the most of what we had– especially with the rocks and the light reflecting off the water. What Disney princess/character do you guys think I should tackle next?!
