I first met this group at my 2012 Christmas minis. At that time, I think Carson let me get ONE picture of him looking at the camera, smiling. Our meet up this past fall went much smoother, with both he and little brother Jaxon doing great! No tears, no meltdowns, just two little boys having fun running around and exploring a new place. With young kids, I try not to keep them in one place too long or I know they’ll get bored and start hating the camera! Instead, I try to get a few posed shots, then let them do their own thing while I snap some candids, rinse and repeat 😉 This method definitely worked with these two, though I’m pretty sure their favorite part wasn’t the modeling, but getting to roll around in the grass and check out the creek!
