Sometimes I forget that I can post personal photos to the blog, as well as my client shoots, so today I figured I would start with some family vacation photos! Well…I didn’t actually go anywhere, but my family came to me! Our cousins from Arizona stayed with us for just over a week and we had a blast doing your typical Southern summer activities. These included watermelon eatin’, playing on the slip-n-slide in the back yard, watching goats play in the pasture, having races in the front yard, and (my personal favorite) picking strawberries! But we didn’t just pick ’em…no sir! We went home and got right to work on some delicious strawberry ice cream. These kids were great at picking strawberries, but even better at eating them! I think the littlest one ate her weight in strawberries, and that was before we ever made them into ice cream! And if you’ve never had fresh, homemade ice cream at a picnic table on a humid, Alabama summer day then you are sorely missing out on something incredible! I’m so glad the kiddos got to come experience a little bit of true, Southern summertime while they were here!
Kayla you are so talented. I love your pictures of the Cobb family. You have a girt girl stick with it! I hope I get to meet you someday. Debbie Cillitto proud mom of Heather grandma to Chance,Autumn and Shelbylynne . Oh yes my son in law is one of the best men I know!
Kayla, my mom meant to say “you have a gift”. She was concerned about her grammatical mistake so I told her I would fix it, lol.
These are the most precious pictures! I love them and you captured Chance, Autumn and Shelbylynne beautifully! God has given you a treasured talent! God Bless you!
