Well, here it is! My first EVER blog post! I spent hours trying to decide what session or topic to tackle for my first post (I mean, it has to be something special since it’s the originator!) But as soon as I heard that my seven year old cousin Gabriela wanted to do “shopping” pictures for her birthday, I knew exactly what I wanted to do! Alice Circle was the perfect place to take some fun shots of a little fashionista doing what she loves (if you haven’t checked out this neat little shop, make plans to visit asap!) Plus, this wasn’t just any session, so I had to make sure it was special! This sweet girl came to us from Guatemala when she was just a few months old and she’s pretty much been our little superstar ever since. Diva? That’s an exaggeration 😉 Gabriela kept me and her mom entertained by singing The Band Perry songs the whole way there, and hitting those high notes with no fear! She knows how to strike a pose and work a camera and I think her big personality really shines through in these!
We raided her closet (& mine!) to find all her cute accessories and I had no shortage of shopping bags for us to use. What can I say? She takes after me with the shopping thing 😉
