Alexis >> 2017 Boaz Senior

There are some schools that I get a constant stream of seniors from, and others that I only see a couple from each year. I have been seriously lacking in Boaz seniors, and Alexis has been my only 2017 Boaz pirate so far! The great thing about having seniors come in from other counties is that they have access to locations that their classmates won’t. We started with a couple locations right in the middle of Fyffe, then branched out into our more secluded spots outside of town.

Alexis had such cute outfits picked out for her session, and my favorite was definitely the buffalo plaid button down and furry vest! I have been obsessed with red and black buffalo plaid since middle school (I went through a strange lumberjack phase– let’s not get into it) so anytime a senior pulls out an outfit featuring it, I get super excited. We added a little variety to some of our shots by pairing this outfit with a tan hat from my senior style closet– one of my favorite, easy ways to change up the look of an outfit!

I was so glad Alexis loves hats as much as I do, and we were able to spice up her final look with another piece from my hat collection (if you can call two hats a “collection.”) I love how the neutral colors of her outfit contrast with the bright greens around her. Alexis is gorgeous and so fun to be around– plus she cracks me up on Snapchat. Bonus? Today is her birthday!! So as my gift to her, I’m telling the world how great she is and sharing some of my favorites from her senior session 🙂
