Mary Kate >> 2016 Fort Payne Senior

I am so excited to be gearing up for all the Class of 2017 seniors I’ll be photographing this summer and fall, so I wanted to share a #TBT to Mary Kate’s senior session back in October! Mary Kate is super sweet (and also super smart!) so photographing her was a breeze. She fell naturally into all the poses I put her in, and has one of the prettiest “serious” faces I’ve ever seen!

Fall is my busiest season, since everyone wants to capture those beautiful autumn leaves in their photos. But my favorite time is early fall, when you can get both fall foliage and the late summer flowers that are still hanging around. I feel like Mary Kate’s session was the perfect mix of summer and fall! We had flowers and foliage, but we also had some fabulous outfits! The white crochet top over purple looked great in my favorite patch of bamboo, and we also lucked out with some gorgeous purple flowers that were still in bloom! For a more autumnal look, Mary Kate chose a taupe colored dress and super cute pair of wedges. I LOVE the shots of her by the water in this outfit!

I always urge my seniors to choose outfits that aren’t super “trendy” because one day you’ll look back and feel the same way your parents do about their 1980s yearbook photos! 😉 Mary Kate chose beautiful, timeless looks for her session and these images will definitely stand the test of time! I loved her simple, blush pink top and that striped blue oxford. If you were looking for classic fashion inspiration for your senior session, this girl has got you covered!
