Bethany >> 2016 Fort Payne Senior

One of my favorite things about my clients is seeing their unique senior style. Each girl or guy brings their own individuality to their looks, and I love seeing how their personalities translate through fashion. Bethany is a perfect example of this– I’ve never met someone who was equal parts dry, witty sarcasm and super sweetness like Bethany. Basically, I wanted to be her best friend. And her style is just as cool as she is. First of all, we have to talk about the hair. It takes a lot of confidence to pull off a super short style and she does it with ease. Besides that, I loved some of the pieces she pulled together to make unique outfits. I was obsessed with those belted plaid trouser pants and heels and loved how the outfit contrasted with the bright red brick. Bethany’s accessories were amazing too– my personal favorites were the big, dangly cross earrings. When it comes to jewelry, more is more 😉

We got to shoot in several different locations and add lots of variety to this session. My favorite places to shoot are often grungy, urban areas but I especially enjoy mixing in more natural places too. What I love about shooting in Fort Payne is that both are easily accessible, and add such an interesting mix to the images. Not surprisingly, we ended Bethany’s session in one of my favorite spots that overlooks the mountains and I got her to wear one of my favorite pieces, this beige floppy hat. I think my favorite shot of the entire shoot is the last image of her laughing in the grass. 🙂
