Heather >> 2015 Fort Payne Senior

There are locations that I shoot in regularly, and I do so because I know they’ll produce great shots. But I love unique senior sessions where my clients choose their own location, especially when its somewhere that holds special meaning for them! Naturally, I was excited when Heather told me she wanted to shoot on her family’s land for her session. It’s a little nerve wracking to go into a shoot unsure of what your location looks like. But I was pleasantly surprised to see all the great options we had for Heather’s session! From a big open field to a tree canopied hollow, we got so much variety! I especially love the shots of Heather with the old truck– it was something a little different and she looked completely confident and gorgeous! Heather’s style was a perfect mix of girly and tomboy and she was able to rock a frilly lace dress AND a simple button down with jeans and a fabulous necklace.

Heather brought along her boyfriend Eric, who is pretty much a master reflector holder now. We had some seriously great light that day, and Eric did a great job making sure we reflected it just right so that it perfected my images of Heather 🙂 With one outfit left, we decided to race to a nearby cotton field before the sun went down. We made it just in time and were able to get some beautiful shots of Heather, as well as a couple of the two of them together. I had a great time hanging out with these two and shooting in some awesome, unique locations!
